GCE A Level

The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level, is a secondary school leaving qualification in the United Kingdom.

At least three subjects and normally four subjects

Grades : A* (highest), A, B, C, D, E & U (fail)

Cambridge Pre-U Diploma

Three Principal Subjects + GPR (Global Perspective & Independent Research Report)

( One Pre-U Principal Subject + Two A level + Pre-U GPR )

Scale of 9 grades : Distinction 1, 2 and 3  /  Merit 1, 2 and 3  /  Pass 1, 2 and 3 

  • Last year to take 2 year Cambridge Pre-U Diploma in September 2021

  • The last examination will be in June 2023, with a resit available in June 2024

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma

The three core elements ; 3 points

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)  |  The Extended Essay (EE)  |  Creativity, activity, service (CAS)

The six subject groups (three in HL, three in SL) ; highest 42 points (7 each)

Sciences
Mathematics
The arts

The diploma is awarded to students who gain at least 24 points
